Upcoming Crops

The crops and vendors are always changing, so click here to find out what is fresh and expected new this week.  This list will become more complete as the market draws near and your urban farmers know what will be fresh and awesome.

Last week brought some neighbourhood folks w/ the first figs of the season, and we think the squash guy from Ladd’s Addition might show, too.  You just never know what sort of surprises you’ll find at the HUFM!

As always, contact us for the price list, if you have any questions or to simply make your order.  Things are always changing at our 23 micro-farms, often by the hour – we’ll let you know ASAP what’s at its peak.

You can send email to our new, fancy domain now, with posts to either Marie or Kat.  You can also give Kat a ring on her mobile for an uncommonly fast response (email either of us for the number).

Visit us on Sundays at the Hawthorne Urban Farmers’ Market, from 1-6pm on the ‘thorne and 43rd, in the Auto Clinic lot right next to Common Grounds Coffeehouse.  It’s lots of fun every week, with free music and berries!

If you’re in SE, let us know if you want to get in on the Monday Madness deliveries, where we sell the still-fresher-than-grocery market remnants for half off.  I’ll swing by with the farm Metro and coolers full of goodness — while supplies last — they go fast at those prices!

  1. Marie, Marie!…I am coming to see you about berries, tarragon, and a few well-built shallots. 😉

    • You’ll find the shallots next to us with Josh of Sacred Organics. I’ll make sure we’ve got plenty of tarragon — it’s jumping right up over at 28th. Echo will have the blues and we’ll have the blacks.
